We are located on the former Wurtsmith Airforce Base in the Aune Medical Center.  We are proud to say the building was named for Donald Aune, who is one of the founding fathers of the Oscoda practice.  

As you enter the base gates on F-41, you will travel approximately 1/2 mile and turn left onto Skeel  Drive.  This will bring you to the front of the building where you will see our Dental Practice.  Our entrance is around the left side of this building, so you will need to turn left at the stop sign in front of our building.  As you come around the left side of the building, you will see a large set of glass double doors.  You may enter here.

We specialize in Family Medicine.  We offer Workman's Comp-related care.  We have radiology services available onsite.  AHC's Patient In Need Program for qualifying patients is located in our Oscoda office.

  Tiger Health Extension is a school-based clinic operated by Alcona Health Centers that is housed within the Alcona Elementary School in Lincoln, MI that provides primary care, behavioral health services, and health education to students 5-12 years of age residing in the Alcona Community Schools district.

Alcona Health Centers maintains a hospitalist service at Alpena Regional Medical Center.  A hospitalist specializes in caring for hospitalized patients from admission to discharge.  During the patient's hospital stay, the hospitalist will be their main physician.  All AHC patients who are admitted will be under the direct care of one of our hospitalist physicians.  Our hospitalist also provide care for non-patients.

The Community Health Center of  Northern Michigan is open Monday through Friday, 8 am- 5 pm.  Appointments are required; however, exceptions are made in acute care situations such as chest pain, shortness of breath, and acute injury.
