We are a designated Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH).  A Patient Centered Medical Home is an approach to providing comprehensive primary care for children, youth, and adults.  The PCMH is a healthcare setting that facilitates parterships between individual patients, their personal healthcare providers, and when appropriate, the patient's family.

Alcona Health Centers' hospitalists specialize in caring for patients in the hospital from admission to discharge.  All AHC patients who are admitted to Alpena Regional Medical Center will be under the direct care of one of our hospitalist physicians.  Our hospitalists also provide care for non-patients of AHC.
