Alcona Health Centers is a Joint Commission accredited, federally qualified health care center. Our network of healthcare and dental clinics are closely situated along the shorelines of Lake Huron and Lake Michigan . We are a designated Patient Centered Medical Home.
We offer a wide variety of services including family medicine, internal medicine, school-based health care services, geriatrics, behavioral health, dental services, and health education.
We also have a team of hospitalists.
A hospitalist specializes in caring for patients in the hospital from admission to discharge. During the patient’s hospitalization, the hospitalist will be their main hospital physician. All AHC patients who are admitted to Alpena Regional Medical Center will be under the direct care of one of our hospitalist physicians. Our hospitalist also provides care for non-patients of AHC.
